Kenaboi River Challenge of Negeri Sembilan.

Kenaboi River Challenge is a Kayaking Sport Event held every year organised by the Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran of Negeri Sembilan. This event has captured the interest of all the kayaking club members in Malaysia because of it's tough and challenging event with the continuos rapids and the non stop fast water pouring downstream with lots of big boulders and stoppers and even catch hold some of the kayakers capsized. You'll even plunge into a big boiling hole of white crashing foam through the rapids.

Watch out everybody especially all kayakers because this event is coming back in November 2008. It is the most interesting whitewater race in Malaysia. The swift flowing river through the giant boulders leaning precariously close to each other on the left and right side of the Kenoboi River are just some of the challenges awaiting for the new or even experienced whitewater kayaking enthusiasts.

The rapids here are relatively moderate and it is a very suitable stretch for beginners or amateurs to this sport to sharpen their skills and to practice balancing the kayak so as for them to learn and it will be necessary to master the more turbulent parts in the later stages.

All members are making arrangements of coming back to Kenaboi for this year event. It is an open event not only for Malaysians, but it has got some response from tne foreigners and this event will sooner or later become an International Event.

The event held on the first day will be the rapids challenge which is considered more adventurers and dangerous for those unexperience and on the second day it's the river challenge that depends on the fastest kayakers to win the race and with stamina.

But the rapids challenge is more challenging and it depends on individual skill and stamina and it makes a lot of difference to be proud of to complete the race.

Happy Kayaking.
